PLEASE HELP. Fundraising/Sponsorship ideas?!?!?

Please help me out :)
I have about 8 months, to fund-raise a major total of £1200 -which is half of the total cost - 
So that I can go on the expedition of a lifetime... to Africa (:
I'm 14 years old, so please bare that in mind (:
Any ideas for raising this money, would be much appreciated (:
I would also like some ideas of how I could get lots of sponsorships (:
