I live in tallahassee florida I turn 15 in november and i am in need of an after school job ive applied at 2 grocery stores and 1 fast food restaurant! Can anyone help me please!!
You might have better luck doing odd jobs for neighbors, maybe walking dogs or mowing yards. If you do get hired at the store or restaurant they don't have to pay you minimum wage.
Although I'm not 14 years old it is very hard to find a job with the economy the way it is... you could try using the website services such as monster.com you could use your local newspaper and read the help wanted ads you could even talk to your teachers and get them to recommend you for afterschool job
Rate now at your age pretty much the only available work that you can get is going to be working in the food service industry, if you're really lucky you can talk to your local park district and maybe get a job with the city mowing lawns, or working at your local public pool....
You can ask tried the local mall and if you're extremely lucky might even land a job over at hot topic
